Since the decision was made to utilise ASYCUDA as the Vanuatu Single Window System, efforts have been made to “rebrand” the ASYCUDA system as the Single Window System.
The latest change was to amend the ASYCUDA Portal to be the Vanuatu Single Window Portal. Already the new Portal address is being rolled out and soon viewers and users will only be able to access the Portal via the new address: https://singlewindow.gov.vu while the ASYCUDA Portal address will be phased out.

The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) now has direct access to the ASYCUDA system, or what we like to refer to now in Vanuatu as the electronic Single Window System #VeSW. This access will assist VTO in gathering visitors data to assist with their operations. The inclusion of VTO to the VeSW system now brings the total number of Government agencies who have direct access to the system, other than Customs, to five. The purpose for their accesses ranges from trade, revenue, statistics and security.
